Brooke Barker

Brooke Barker is a writer and illustrator from Minnesota and Oregon. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Guardian, Time Out Tokyo, and Lenny Letter, and she has written and illustrated for National Geographic and the Montreal Zoo. Her books Sad Animal Facts and Sad Animal Babies have been published in countless languages if you can't count higher than eight. She is currently working on a book of comics with her parter Boaz, and an audiobook of essays, which will both be published in 2020. Her favorite animal is her dog Kip.
