Leading with curiosity, these artists, all based in Pittsburgh, PA, are attempting to push the boundaries of their comfort with material and form. Routes demonstrates the progression in several areas of painting and sculpture, becoming the subject explored in this exhibition. Methods include using color and media in unconventional ways, experimentation with abstraction, and blurring the lines of genres, all driven by a shared and passionate interest in the artistic process.
Radiant Hall empowers artists to sustain thriving studio practices by creating and preserving access to space, shared resources, programs, and a supportive community of peers. Spanning three studio locations across the greater Pittsburgh area, our studios have served as a creative home base for over 300 artists since 2012. Tissue Farm has given Radiant Hall a unique opportunity to curate a group exhibition that showcases the vibrant Radiant Hall community. We are honored to be a part of the artists’ journeys.
