Ben Schonberger

Ben Schonberger is an artist and photography instructor currently based in Pittsburgh, PA. Utilizing photography, appropriated imagery, digital montage, and performance his work examines the complexities of identity through social investigations.

Ben has exhibited his work nationally and internationally. His work is part of public and private collections in including The Detroit Institute of Arts Department of Prints, Drawings and Photographs and The Toledo Museum of Art. His self- published photobooks can be found in the MoMA Library, The Arts Library at Yale University, and The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
