Internships are offered in the Fall (October–December) and Spring (January–April), and can be tailored to match candidates’  strengths and interests. Currently seeking:

COMMUNICATION + EVENTS INTERN - FALL/SPRING

COMMUNICATIONS + MARKETING

  • Assist in developing internal and external communications strategies.

  • Support the creation and design of content for newsletters, e-blasts, social media posts, and press releases.

  • Help manage social media by creating content schedules, developing posts, and monitoring interactions.

  • Assist in updating website content and maintaining adherence to accessibility standards.

  • Contribute to the production and distribution of marketing and recruitment materials.

EVENTS + PROGRAMMING

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events, including Open Studios and Pop-up Markets.

  • Document events through photography, video, and social media.

  • Collaborate with staff on logistical tasks such as setting up spaces, coordinating with vendors, and managing check-in stations.

  • Support the Communication & Events Manager during events by serving as a point of contact for artists and attendees.

  • Assist in programming additional events such as exhibitions, meet-ups, and mixers.

CREATIVE CONCEPTING

  • Brainstorm and assist in developing engaging content across various platforms.

  • Support the launch and management of our TikTok page.

  • Occasionally design digital and marketing assets to support events and campaigns.

DEVELOPMENT + PHILANTHROPY INTERN - FALL/SPRING

DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

  • Assist in planning and executing the end-of-year fundraising appeal, including messaging, materials, and outreach strategies.

  • Support donor research and prospect identification to expand our donor base.

  • Draft and edit donor communications, including e-blasts and mailers.

  • Coordinate acknowledgment processes for donations to ensure timely communication with donors.

  • Maintain donor databases to ensure accuracy.

TRACKING AND REPORTING

  • Track fundraising activities and donor interactions for timely follow-ups.

  • Maintain records of contributions and donor communications.

  • Prepare reports summarizing fundraising efforts and key metrics.

PHILANTHROPY ENGAGEMENT

  • Assist in developing and promoting philanthropic initiatives that align with the organization’s mission.

  • Support planning and execution of donor appreciation events and recognition programs.

  • Research potential partnerships with philanthropic organizations to enhance funding opportunities.
