Join artists Dafna Rehavia and David Hanauer for the closing reception and exhibition screening of The Invisible Wounds Project.
Curated by Oreen Cohen, the exhibition explores grief and healing through written word, printmaking, photography, and sculpture, uncovering and mending the invisible wounds of trauma. The artists delve into the self as a wounded object, retaining the memories and scars of past personal, familial, and cultural trauma. Through semi-conscious memories embodied in their art and poetic processes, they invite visitors to engage in an open dialogue about hidden yet present memories of difficult experiences.
The project is supported by Staunton Farm Foundation, Radiant Hall, Artists Image Resources Inc., and Bright Archives Independent Production House.
