Lydia Slocum

My name is Lydia Slocum. I have lived in Pittsburgh for most of my conscious life and I plan to never leave it. I am 23 years old and I create within the realm of my imaginary industrial design warehouse, manned by Asheley, my second in command and possibly sentient doll-muse. I balance two worlds, one as the lead singer and bassist of a surprisingly successful noise pop band and the other as a recent graduate and weaver of multiple part-time jobs. I love my life and believe it is magically charmed. I wish to spend most of it making things better, connecting people, and fostering vulnerability and empathy within a generation stunned and calloused by the predatory capitalist powers that be. I was raised to carry creativity with the upmost care and seriousness, and my excitement and sense of duty has never dulled since I first realized the magic that is making something out of nothing.
